Ridges Of Belknap County Foliage

Mid-October in NH is usually full of fall colors, depending on prior weather conditions. An end of season jaunt through the gorgeous backroads of central New Hampshire on BCNH’s The Ridges Of Belknap County Foliage Tour proved that this year’s colors were spectacular as we drove through Gilmanton, Loudon, Barnstead, Alton, and New Durham. There were great backroads with awesome leaf peeping and a lunch stop at Johnson’s Steak and Seafood in New Durham half way through the drive was a nice respite. Another hour of driving had us ending at Over The Moon Brewing in Pittsfield for a pint or Appleview Orchard across the street for ice cream or apples. It was a great day and the ride certainly puts an exclamation point to the driving season’s end.
