Cruising to The Wright Museum 8-21
A great car show at The Wright Museum in Wolfeboro today. We met up at the Alton Hannaford with some fellow BCNH members and set off. There were cars of every type there; a 1917 Stanley Steamer – that means it’s over 100 years old – American classics and muscle, and of course our British cars. A couple of TR6’s, 1932 MG J2, a MGB GT, Jaguars both old and new, and a Mini. It was overcast all day, but the rain held off until about 1:30 – then it poured. Buckets and buckets. Reluctantly, we put the top up on the TR6 and stopped at Lone Wolf Brewing for a pint to dry off. Whether there is a car show or not, the Wright Museum of WW2 is “must visit” venue.
